Green Bean, Pecan & Blue Cheese Salad

List of Ingredients
3/4 lb (350 g) green beans, trimmed
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
1-1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2-1/4 tsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp pecan pieces, toasted
1/2 oz (15 g) blue cheese, crumbledRecipe
Steam beans in steamer basket over boiling water until tender but crisp, about 10 minutes. (Do not overcook.) Rinse with cold water. Drain. Cool to room temperature. Place in medium bowl with onions.
In small bowl, stir together vinegar, sugar and salt until dissolved. Pour over bean mixture and toss. Sprinkle with pecans and blue cheese.
Makes 4 servings, each with 80 calories and 4 grams fat.
