    List of Ingredients




    4 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
    2 cups water
    4 ounces dried angel hair pasta, broken
    2 medium leeks, sliced, or 2/3 cup sliced green onions
    1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
    1-1/2 cups cubed cooked ham
    4 ounces fresh sugar snap peas, cut in half crosswise (about 1 cup)
    8 ounces fresh asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 1 cup)
    2 tablespoons snipped fresh dill or 2 teaspoons dillweed
    2 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel

    In a large saucepan, bring chicken broth and water to boiling. Add pasta, leeks, and garlic. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, about 3 minutes or until pasta is nearly tender. Add ham, sugar snap peas, asparagus, dill, and lemon peel. Return to boiling. Boil gently about 2 minutes more or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Makes 4 servings.
