Brownie Biscotti

Beat until soft:
1/3 cup butter
Add:
2/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
Beat in:
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Add:
1/3 cup cocoa
1-3/4 cups flour (as much flour as you can by mixer, then by hand)
Stir in:
½ cups mini chocolate chips
¼ cup chopped nuts
Shape between layers of plastic wrap to 9x4x1” bar, then split in half so it’s 2” wide.
Place them on parchment covered sheet 4” apart.
Brush with milk.
Convection bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes. Cool on sheet for 30 minutes.
Cut into thick, ½” slices diagonally with serrated knife (not electric).
Lay cut side down and bake at 300°F. for 10 minutes. Flip and bake an additional 5 minutes.
Leave in oven until cool.
Store airtight.
Yield: 20 cookies (These are short biscotti. Don’t cut, keep 9x4x1”)
