    Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Cream:
    1 cup margarine
    1 cup peanut butter

    Gradually add until blended:
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup brown sugar

    Add and beat until smooth:
    2 eggs, one at a time

    Sift together and add:
    2 cups flour
    1 tsp. baking soda

    Stir in:
    1 cup chocolate chips

    Drop from teaspoon onto greased sheets.

    Bake at 325°F. for 15 minutes.

    Yield: 6 dozen 2” cookies (1-1/2” scoop 12/sheet for 48 cookies)

    Notes: Yummy! Bake until edges are lightly browned and centers are still light. 5/99 -- Half recipe yields 6 large cookies, dropped from serving spoon. Baked at 325°F. for 20 minutes.
    9/2000 Double recipe got 45 large cookies (with serving spoon)
    4/01 Used butter and they spread too much
