    Peanut Butter Cookies

    Sunset
    In large bowl of electric mixer, beat until creamy:
    1 cup margarine

    Gradually beat in:
    1 cup peanut butter
    then
    1 cup brown sugar
    then
    ¾ cup sugar

    Beat in:
    2 eggs
    then
    1 tsp. vanilla

    In a separate bowl, combine:
    3-1/2 cups flour
    1 tsp. baking soda

    Gradually add to margarine mixture, blending thoroughly.

    Roll into 1” balls and place 2” apart on ungreased sheets. Press down with fork tines.

    Bake at 350°F. for 8-10 minutes. Cool on sheet 1 minute before transferring to rack.

    Yield: 110 cookies

    Notes: Squeezed out of large star tip (1A) and topped with a chocolate chip. Roll large tablespoon sized balls and pressed with cookie stamp (6 doz.)
    Squeezed out of large bore tip into ropes. Cut to separate. Dipped one end into melted chocolate. Medium cookie scoop yields 59.
