    1/4 lb. ham
    1 tbps.oil
    3 rib celery,sliced
    2 large carrots,cut lenghtwise in half,then sliced
    1 onion,chopped
    2 bay leaf
    1/2 lb. green split pea
    1 tbsp. chicken bouillon
    3 tbsp. fresh or 1 tbsp. dried dill

    Recipe



    Cut ham into chuncks.In large saucepot,saute ham in oil for 3 minutes.Add celery,carrots,onion and bay leaf and saute 3 minutes.Add split pea,chicken bouillon and 5 cup water;bring to boiling.Cover and simmer 1 hour or until vegetable are tender.
    Before serving,remove bay leaf and stir in dill.
    Make 6 serving
