- 1 loaf french bread, cut into cubes
- 8 eggs
- 3 cups f.f. milk
- 4 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbls butter, cubed
- 3 tbls sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Place the bread cubed in a greased 13x9x2 baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt.
- Pour over the bread.
- Cover and refrig for 8 hours or overnight.
- Remove from the refrig 30 min before baking.
- Dot with butter.
- Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 45-50 min.
- Let stand for 5 min.
- Serve with syrup.
