    EJ uses 1 cup of sugar rather than the 3/4 listed in the recipe.

    List of Ingredients




    3/4 cup sugar
    1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
    1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    1 egg
    2 tablespoons water
    3 cups whole walnuts or you can mix pecans and walnuts

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 250 degrees.
    Sift sugar & spices together.
    In a separate bowl beat egg whites and water til stif peaks form.
    Add sugar and spice to egg whites. Then stir in nuts and make sure to coat all.
    Place on greased cookie sheet in a single layer. Bake 40 minutes stir every 20 minutes, Remove and cool.
