    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1 cup chopped celery
    • 12 oz egg noodles, uncooked
    • cheese, shredded
    • 1 quart tomato juice
    • 1/8 teaspoon soda
    • 1 teaspoon salt


    Instructions


    1. Cook the onion and celery until tender. Mix these vegetables with the cooked ground beef, along with 1 quart of tomato juice. Add 1/8 tsp. soda and 1 tsp. salt, and bring this mixture to a boil, meanwhile grease a 13x9" pan and place dry egg noodles (12 oz. pkg.) in the bottom of the pan. Then, pour the boiling mixture over the dry noodles. Cover. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Then, uncover. Garnish with shredded cheese. Put back in the oven, uncovered for 10 minutes. Serve.
