    3 C. Water (hot)
    2 C. Milk
    2 pkgs. Yeast w/ 2T. sugar
    1/2 C. Br. Sugar
    3 3/4 C. White Flour
    3 1/4 C. Wheat Flour
    2 1/4 T. Salt
    1/2 C/ Veg. Oil
    4 1/2 C. White Flour
    1 1/2 C. Wheat Flour

    Recipe



    Mix first 3 ingredients together and make sure the yeast is working before moving on.
    Add in the next 3 ingred. Mixing well. Beat for 100 strokes.
    Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

    Fold in the oil and salt. Mix the remaining flours together and set aside 2 C. for kneading and mix in the rest to the above bread mixture.
    Knead untill smooth, about 15 min. Put in greased bowl, cover and let raise 50 min.
    Shape into loaves in pans and rise 30 more minutes.
    Bake at 350' for 1 hour. If it browns too quickly-cover with foil.
    Remove from pans and butter tops, cool on racks on their sides.
