    Yorkshire pudding is a batter similar to a popover but baked in roast beef drippings in a baking pan. When puffed and golden, the pudding is cut into squares and served with roast beef and gravy. Very popular English dish.

    List of Ingredients




    1 C. all purpose flour
    1 C. mil
    2 eggs
    1/2 t. salt
    1/4 C. roast beef drippings

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients with a hand beater just till smooth.
    Pour the roast beef drippings into a heated square pan approx. 9x9x2" or oblong baking dish 11x7x1 1/2".
    Pour in the pudding batter. Bake until puffed and golden brown, about 25 minutes. Cut into squares and serve with gravy and roast beef.
