    Best Peach Cobbler

    Source of Recipe

    BoyScouts of America

    Recipe Introduction

This is the ever easy and popular boy scout cobbler!
Our families favorite, in our opinion, you won't find a better recipe!

    List of Ingredients

    2 cns. Sliced Peaches
1/2 box (dry) Yellow Cake Mix
    1 stick Butter/marg.

    Recipe

Heat oven to 350' (The scouts cook it in a iron pot in the ground)

In 9x13" pan, empty the cns of peaches - juice and all.
Sprinkle 1/2 the box of the dry cake mix over the top completely covering the peaches and juice.
Then, slice butter into pads and put all over the top and bake till golden brown.

What "I" do is BEFORE putting the pads of butter on; I add some oatmeal and br. sugar on top AND THEN put on the butter pads and bake.

Good served with vanilla bean ice-cream.
