    When the kids were little, we would have this on Sunday evenings after dinner at least twice a month!

    List of Ingredients




    1 C. Flour
    3/4 C. Sugar
    2 T. cocoa
    2 t. baking powder
    1/4 t. salt
    1/2 C. Milk
    2 T. veg. oil
    1 t. Vanilla
    1 C. Nuts, chopped
    1 C. Brown sugar\
    1/4 C. Cocoa
    1 3/4 C. water
    Vanilla Ice Cream

    Recipe



    Mix first 5 ingred. Then add the next 4 ingred. and mix well. Spread evenly in 9x9" square pan - ungreased.
    Stir together the br. sugar and cocoa and put on top of the batter- DO NOT MIX. Then on top of that add 1 3/4 C. hot tap water- DO NOT MIX!
    Bake for 40 min. at 350'.
    Remove form oven and let stand 15 min. cut in squares (I just spoon it out). Serve with vanilla ice-cream.

    This makes a wonderful choclate fudge syrup within itself!
