    Easy Strawberry Ice-Cream

    This recipe is for those who don't have an ice-cream maker!

    List of Ingredients




    3 Egg Yolks
    1 (14 oz) can Eagle Brand Milk
    1 t. Vanilla
    1/2 C. Chopped Strawberries
    2 C. (1 pt.) Whipping Cream, whipped
    2 C. fresh or frozen Strawberries, mashed

    Recipe



    In lrg. bowl, beat the egg yolks, stir in the eagle brand milk, vanilla and chopped berries. Fold in the whipped cream.
    Pour 1/3 of the mixture into a foil lined loaf pan or 2 qt. container. Spoon 1/3 of the mashed berries on top.
    Repeat layering; top w/mashed strawberry mixture and swirl with a knife or spatula. Cover and freeze for 6 hrs. or firm. Scoop from pan or peel off foil and slice.


    PEACH; Omit the vanilla. Beat the egg yolks as above, stir in the eagle brand milk and 1 C. Mashed Peaches and 1/2 C. Chopped peaches and 1/4 t. almond extract-fold in whipped cream.
