You'll never use canned ones again! Incredible flavor!
List of Ingredients
3 C. dry navy beans
chopped bacon
****
1 C. sugar
1/2 t. dry mustard
1/2 C. molasses
1/2 t. saltRecipe
Soak the beans overnight in water. In morning drain and add fresh water and parboil until the skin of the beans break, drain and rinse.
Into baking dish, put layers of beans and chopped bacon until all the beans are used.
Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl and then pour over the beans. Then add enough water to just cover the beans.
Bake at 350' for 4-5 hours or done. (beans are tender)
***you can also add chopped green pepper***
