Margie's Grandmother's recipe from long ago.





List of Ingredients



• 5 C flour
  
• 2 C. sugar
  
• 2 tsp. baking powder
  
• 1 tsp. salt
  
• 2 Tbsp nutmeg
  
• 1 1/2 C. crisco
  
• 1/2 box currents
  
• 3 eggs
  
• milk
  






Instructions



1. Beat eggs and add enough milk to make 1 cup liquid.
   
   
2. Mix dry ingredients, then add crisco and mix like consistency of pie dough.
   
   
3. Add currents, then the liquid, blend well.
   
   
4. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
   
   
5. Roll and cut in circles.
   
   
6. Place in in electric fry pan browning on both sides. 350 degrees.
