    Recipe Introduction

    Serves 9, 3pts/serving

    List of Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Reduced fat Bisquick
    1/3 cup Splenda
    1/2 cup fat free milk
2 med. apples (I only used one)
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 cup boiling water
    FF cool whip

    Recipe

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9x9x2 pan with Pam. Mix Bisquick, Splenda and milk together. Spread into prepared pan. Top with apples. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over apple mixture. Pour boiling water over apple mixture. Bake for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Top with fat free Cool Whip while cake is warm.

Tip (The cake batter is very sticky and difficult to spread in the dish so I sprayed Pam on my fingers to pat it all over and even it out. I didn't use any Cool Whip. It was terrific without it, it is best while warm!)

    Hope this helps.

P.S. I got nervous when I had to pour the boiling water over it caused it looked delicious without it. But pour slowly over entire cake. When it is done baking and you cut a piece, the water mixed with the br.sugar/cinnamon to form a caramel sauce on the bottom! You'll love it.
