Brie - Brie Crescent Wrapped and Cranberry (Oven)

1 can (8 oz) crescent rolls
1 8 oz round Brie cheese
3 tbsp whole berry cranberry sauce
1 egg, beaten
1 small green grape clusters, or seedless red
Heat oven to 350°F.
Remove crescent rolls from pkg. and press together seams.
Place on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam.
Remove rind from top of cheese using serrated knife; discard rind.
Place cheese, cut side up on center of crescent on cookie sheet.
Spread cranberry sauce over cheese.
Bring dough up around side of cheese, pressing and pinching dough to seal.
(Optional) Brush dough with beaten egg.
Bake 30 minutes or until deep golden brown.
Cool 15 minutes before serving.
To serve, place warm pastry-wrapped cheese on platter.
Can arrange grapes around cheese.
Instead of cranberry sauce another yummy options is:
- favorite jam
- Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
Spread jam on brie, fold dough over top, cutting off excess dough.
Drizzle maple syrup and place a handful of brown sugar on top.
