    To Die For Pot Roast

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 beef roast, size to fit crock-pot, trim off fat
    • 1 envelope ranch dressing mix (dry)
    • 1 envelope brown gravy mix (dry)
    • 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix (dry)
    • 1 1/2 C. hot tap water


    Instructions


    1. Place trimmed roast in crock-pot.
      Combine dry mixes & rub over all surfaces of roast.
      Pour water into bottom of crock-pot.
      Cover & cook on low for 6-7 hrs. (mine took 9 hrs on low-slightly over 4 lb. roast)
      Dilute pot juices to taste & then thicken with flour-water paste for gravy.



    Final Comments


    * I ended up having to add about another 1 1/2 cups water to mine, and scoop the goo off the top of the roast that formed from the seasoning.... In all, I have to say this was the best tasting roast I have EVER had!
