    -Use a round or oval shaped casserole dish to provide more even cooking. Square and rectangular pans produce dry corners due to receiving twice the amount of heat at right angles.

    -Since casseroles freeze well, why not double the batch and make two casseroles. Make one tonight and save one for later.

    -Spice up a bland casserole with Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard powder, or a dash of hot pepper sauce.

    -For a crisp, brown top, keep the casserole covered during baking and uncover for the last 15 - 20 minutes.
