    Roast in a 325 degrees F Conventional Oven on Lowest Oven Rack –
    Roast about 20 minutes per pound if 8 to 10 pounds & about 15 minutes per pound for larger bird.

    Here are guidelines for roasting a turkey at 325F.:


    8 to 12-pound turkey
    · unstuffed: 2 3/4 to 3 hours
    · stuffed: 3 to 3 1/2 hours


    12 to 14-pound turkey
    · unstuffed: 3 to 3 3/4 hours
    · stuffed: 3 1/2 to 4 hours


    14 to 18-pound turkey
    · unstuffed: 3 3/4 to 4 1/4 hours
    · stuffed: 4 to 4 1/4 hours


    18 to 20-pound turkey
    · unstuffed: 4 1/4 to 4 1/2 hours
    · stuffed: 4 1/4 to 4 3/4 hours


    20 to 24-pound turkey
    · unstuffed: 4 1/2 to 5 hours
    · stuffed: 4 3/4 to 5 1/4 hours


    Your turkey is done when meat thermometer registers 180F when inserted deep
    in the thigh. Also, juices should be clear, not reddish pink, when thigh muscle is pierced deeply.

    Let stand 20 minutes before carving.
