Recipe Introduction
Somewhat different than regular Meringue Cookies. Due to the small amount bit of vinegar, they have a little chewy texture in the center! One of my favorites!
List of Ingredients
4 egg whites
1 C sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
¼ tsp. cream of tartar
Recipe
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Sift and add sugar and cream of tartar.
Continue beating until it hold it’s shape.
Add vanilla & vinegar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet lined w/ wax paper.
Bake at 250F for 1 ¼ or 1 ½ hours.
Cool.
