Recipe Introduction
A wonderful side dish my sister Kathi made when we were there visiting..dress it up or down..very good.
List of Ingredients
2 cups white rice
2 oz spaghetti or vermacelli broken into pieces
2 tablespons oil
2 green onions
4 oz sliced muchrooms (optional)or
4 oz frozen green peas (optional)
4 cups water
Boullion to taste ( pork, beef or chicken)
Recipe
Heat oil in large skillet..brown broken spagetti pieces in hot oil..add rice..add water and boullion pork chicken or beef..add water and sliced green onioon..muchrooms and/or peas if desired..heat to boiling , then lower heat to simmer..until done..
Hints..You may also use this as a fried rice dish adding chopped leftover meats..eggs, etc.
