    • 3 cupscranberry juicecocktail
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • 8 Boscpears


    Instructions


    1. Peel pears, do not remove stem
    2. In a large saucepan combine the cranberry juice, 1 cup water and sugar; cook over medheat until sugar has dissolved.
    3. Add cinnamon stick.Bring the mix to a gentle boil. Add pears.
    4. Cover and simmer,turning pears occasionally until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Allow pears to cool in syrup, turning a few times to keep the color even.
    5. Remove and chill.
