- 3 cupscranberry juicecocktail
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 8 Boscpears
Instructions
- Peel pears, do not remove stem
- In a large saucepan combine the cranberry juice, 1 cup water and sugar; cook over medheat until sugar has dissolved.
- Add cinnamon stick.Bring the mix to a gentle boil. Add pears.
- Cover and simmer,turning pears occasionally until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Allow pears to cool in syrup, turning a few times to keep the color even.
- Remove and chill.
