Orange Beef & Broccoli

- 1 bunch broccoli
- 1 1/4 cupos beef broth
- 3 tbl hoisin
- 2 tbl soy sauce
- 2 tbl plum sauce
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- Grate orange peel and juice
- 1/4 cup veg oil
- 1 jalapeno, sliced thin
Instructions
- In a large skillet, bring 2 cups salted water to a boil. cut the broccoli into 1-in florets. Boil until crisp-tender, 3 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water. Reserve skillet.
- In small bowl, stir together broth and 3 sauces, add 1 tbl cornstarch. Stir in orange peel.
- Slice the steak 1/4 inch thick, then cut slices crosswise into thirds; toss with remaining cornstarch.
- In reserved skillet, heat the oil over med-high heat. Add the steak and hte pepper, cook, turning, until barely pink about 2 minutes. Transfer to paper towel lines plate and drain. Add broth mix to skillet and cook, stirring, until thickened about 2 minutes. Stir in the meat, broccoli and the orange juice and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes. Serve with orange wedges.
