• 8 cinnamon sticks, broken
  
• 2 whole nutmegs, crushed
  
• 1/3 cup whole cloves
  
• 1/3 cup minced dried orange peel
  
• 1/4 cup allspice
  






Instructions



1. Tie tablespoon batches into a cheese cloth and tie with string. Store in decorative tin for gifting with tag on directions.
   
2. DIRECTIONS: Put bag in pan with 1 qt cider. Bring to boil, simmer slowly, covered 20 minutes. Add 1/4 cup dark rum is desired and simmer 5 minutes. Discard bag. Serve hot.
