- Small pumpkin
- OPTION
- Cream
- Milk
- Salt
- OR
- Brown Sugar
- Butter
- Nuts
Instructions
- Cut pumpkin in half, remove seed and stringy middle portion.
- Place halves, cut side down, on a foil lined cookie sheet sprayed with oil. Bake at 350 degrees until skin can be peirced with a fork easily.
- Carefully turn over pumpkin halves, there will be very hot steam. Scoop out flesh and serve as desired.
- Savory Pumpkin Mash: Mash like potatoes with butter and salt and a little crea.
- Sweet Pumpkin Mash: As with sweet potatoes, with butter, brown sugar, nuts or vanilla.
