    Blueberry Delight

    This is a dessert that I have often taken to showers or parties. Someone will always ask for the recipe!


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 - 3oz. packages of blue gelatin
    • 2 cups boiling water
    • 1 - 15 oz. can drained blueberries (reserve liquid)
    • 1 - 8 oz can crushed pineapple
    • 1 - 8oz package cream cheese
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 small container sour cream
    • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    • 1/2 cup chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    2. Drain blueberries and pineapple, measure liquids and add enough water to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin mixture.
    3. Stir in blueberries and pineapple, pour into a 2 qt.dish. Cover with foil and refrigerate till firm.
    4. Combine cream cheese, sugar, and sour cream with mixer.Add vanilla and nuts, spread over gelatin.
