    Bread Pudding

    This is my grandmother's recipe for homeade bread pudding. There are many, many different versions of this but I always seem to love this one more than any other!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 dozen eggs
    • 1 sliced bread
    • 1 block of butter
    • 1 can evaporated milk
    • 1 can coconut(with syrup)
    • 1 small can crushed pineapple
    • 1 can peach slices
    • 1 can condensed milk
    • splash of vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Put bread in a large bowl, pour in 2 cups of water and mix a little with hands.
    2. Add all other ingredients and mash through with hands until it is all mixed. Using fingers, smash peaches, block butter and eggs.
    3. When everything is well mixed through, pour into a large cake pan and bake at 350 for about an hour


    Final Comments


    It is common to also add raisins in bread pudding which can be optional.
