    A great summer dessert if you need something good and fast.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Pre-Baked Pie Crust
    • 1 Pint Ripe Strawberries
    • 1 Package of Strawberry Jello (3 oz. size)
    • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
    • 1 Cup Hot Water
    • 1 Cup Cold Water
    • 1/2 Cup Sugar
    • Whipped Cream


    Instructions


    1. Slice Strawberries into baked and cool pie crust
    2. In a medium saucepan mix the jello and the cornstarch. Add the water and sugar. Cook on medium heat until boiling
    3. Pour boiling liquid over strawberries
    4. Place pie in refrigerator and chill for 3-4 hours
    5. Serve with dollops of whipped cream on top


    Final Comments


    If you don't have access to ripe strawberries, I have also used frozen, sliced strawberries which makes this recipe even faster.
