    Asadong dila

    List of Ingredients

    1 ox tongue (dila ng baka)
    1/2 cup olive oil
    10 grams garlic, diced
    50 grams onion, sliced
    1 can tomato sauce (360 g)
    2 1/2 cups beef broth
    1/2 cup calamansi juice
    2 pieces laurel leaves
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1 teaspoon MSG


    . Wash ox tongue and boil in water for a few minutes. Remove tongue from water and scrape off hard skin on surface of tongue. Let cool then slice into serving pieces.
    2. Heat cooking pan and put the olive oil. Sauté garlic until golden brown. Add onions. Pour in tomato sauce, then add the beef broth. Mix well. Put the ox tongue and season with calamansi juice, laurel leaves, soy sauce and MSG. Bring to a slow boil and simmer until ox tongue is tender (about one to 2 hours
