    List of Ingredients




    16 ounces extra-lean sirloin beef or turkey breast
    ½ cup chopped onion
    ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
    1 (14.5-ounce) can Hunt's Tomatoes Diced in Sauce
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon JO's Loose Meat Seasoning or any loose meat seasoning
    4 (3/4-ounce) slices Kraft reduced-fat American cheese
    1 (7.5-ounce) can Pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray an 8-by-8-inch baking dish with butter-flavored cooking spray. In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, brown meat, onion, and green pepper. Add diced tomatoes, Worcestershire, and JO's Loose Meat Seasoning. Mix well to combine. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Evenly place cheese slices over meat mixture. Cut each biscuit into 3 pieces. Form six clusters with five pieces in each and evenly space clusters on top of cheese. Bake for 20 to 26 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Place baking dish on a wire rack and let set for 5 minutes. Divide into 6 servings.

    Serves 6 – Each serving equals:
    160 Calories, 4 gm Fat, 12 gm Protein, 19 gm Carbohydrate, 376 mg Sodium, 113 mg Calcium, 2 gm Fiber
    Diabetic Exchanges: 2 ½ Meat, 1 ½ Vegetable, 1 Starch
