    Poppyseed Bundt Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    • 1 c. vegetable oil
    • 1 c. sour cream
    • 1/4 c. poppy seeds
    • 1/2 c. white sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 1/4 to 1/2 lemon extract, if desired*


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Greas and sugar a 10-inch bundt pan.
    2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oil, sour cream, poppy seeds and sugar. Mix until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Pour into prepared pan.
    3. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
    4. Cool for 15 minutes in pan and then invert on serving platter.

    *I modified this from the original recipe by adding the lemon extract.
