List of Ingredients



• 1/4 c. shortening
  
• 1/2 c. sugar
  
• 1 egg, beaten
  
• 1/2 c. pumpkin
  
• 1 c. sifted flour
  
• 2 tsp. baking powder
  
• 1/2 tsp. salt
  
• 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  
• 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  
• 1/8 tsp. ginger
  
• 1/2 c. raisins
  
• 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  






Instructions



1. Cream shortening; add sugar gradually. Cream until light and fluffy. Add egg and pumpkin; mix well. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and spices together. Stir dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture and mix until well blended. Add raisins and nuts.
   
2. Drop by teaspoonsfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
   
3. Makes about 2 dozen.
