    What a yummy treat!


    List of Ingredients


    • Brownies:
    • 1 1/2 cups flour
    • 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons cocoa
    • 1 cup vegetable oil
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 4 eggs
    • Filling:
    • 3/4 cup butter
    • 2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon mint extract
    • 3 drops green food coloring
    • 1 1/2 cups shortening
    • 3 Tablespoons milk
    • Topping:
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 cup chocolate chips (real chocolate)


    Instructions


    1. Brownies: In a large mixing bowl, combine brownie ingredients and beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
    2. Pour into an 11" x 17" jelly roll pan.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Let brownies cool completely.
    4. Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine all filling ingredients and spread on cooled brownies.
    5. Topping: Put butter and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute to melt. (Be careful not to overcook.) Stir thoroughly until smooth.
    6. Drizzle or spread topping over mint filling.
    7. Refrigerate. Cut into squares before topping is fully set to prevent cracking.
