    Scallops Linguini

    List of Ingredients

    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. mushrooms quartered
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1 Tbsp. chopped shallots
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsely
    3/4 lb. bay scallops
    3/4 c. thick white sauce
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    12-16 oz. cooked linguini

    White sauce:
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1-1/4 Tbsp.flour
    1-1/4 c. hot milk
    1/4 onion
    pinch each clove-nutmeg

    Recipe

    Heat butter in skillet. Add mushrooms, wine, shallots, cheese and parsely. Cook over med. heat 3-4 min. Stir in scallops and continue cooking 2 min. pour in white sauce, season and cook 1 min. Serve over cooked linguini.
