    Roasted Green Beans with Toasted Almonds

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. green beans,trimmed
    • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
    • 1/4 Tbsp Chinese 5-spice powder
    • 1 Tbsp canola oil
    • Salt and ground black pepper


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375F.Toast sliced almonds in oven or toaster until fragrant and slibhtly golden,about 2-3 min. Toss green beans with oil,spice powder,and almonds. Spread out on rimmmed cookie sheet and roast for about 10 min. or until beans are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
    2. Makes 2 servings
