Roasted Green Beans with Toasted Almonds

- 1 lb. green beans,trimmed
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 Tbsp Chinese 5-spice powder
- 1 Tbsp canola oil
- Salt and ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F.Toast sliced almonds in oven or toaster until fragrant and slibhtly golden,about 2-3 min. Toss green beans with oil,spice powder,and almonds. Spread out on rimmmed cookie sheet and roast for about 10 min. or until beans are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
