    Aunt Blanche gave this recipe to my mother in 1942.

    List of Ingredients




    2 eggs,1c.sugar,1/2c.sweetened ground chocolate,1c.flour,1teas.baking powder,1/2teas.salt,1/3c.melted shortening,1teas.vanilla,1/2c.chopped nuts,1/2c.milk.

    Recipe



    Beat egg,add sugar,then dry ingredients which have been sifted together.Add shortening,vanilla,nuts.Bake in greased pan,350*,30mins.Cut in squares.
