List of Ingredients
2 cups navy beans
6 cups cold water
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup chopped parsley
3 Tablespoons sugar
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 pound salt pork, cubed (or left over ham)
1� teaspoons salt
Recipe
Wash and pick over beans. Combine all ingredients in a large covered saucepan. Cook for 2-1/2 or 3 hours. Serves 8. Slice baked ham and serve as a main course.
