SOUR CREAM BANANA SHEET CAKE

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
2 eggs
1½ cups mashed bananas (about 3 large)
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ cup chopped nuts
Recipe
Heat oven to 375° F. Grease and flour je1ly roll pan. 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch,
Mix sugar, sour cream, margarine and eggs in large mixer howl on low speed, scraping howl occasionally, 1 minute. Beat in bananas and vanilla on low speed 30 seconds.
Beat in flour, salt and baking soda on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 1 minute. Stir in nuts. Spread dough in pan.
Bake until light brown 20 to 25 minutes. Cool.
Frost with either White frosting or Browned Butter Frosting (see icings and glazes)
