SHRIMPS IN WHISKEY CREAM

1 ounce butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
12 ounces shelled shrimp
2-3 Tablespoons whiskey
5 ounces heavy cream
Salt and pepper
2-3 ounces grated cheese
Chopped parsley to garnish
Recipe
Butter six ramekin dishes.
Melt the butter in a pan and fry the chopped onions until soft.
Add the prawns and heat through.
Add the whisky and cook for another two minutes.
Stir in the cream, heat, but remove before it reaches boiling point.
Season to taste and pour into the ramekins.
Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and brown under a hot grill.
Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
