    ORIGINAL RECIPE

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

    1 cup yellow cornmeal

    1/4 cup sugar

    3 teaspoons baking powder

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon maple powder (or 2 teaspoons maple extract or 2 tablespoons maple

    flavoring)

    1 (15 ounce) can creamed style corn

    1/4 cup vegetable oil

    1 egg

    Recipe



    Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl, and mix until thoroughly blended.

    Add creamed style corn, vegetable oil and egg. Beat until dry ingredients are just moistened. (You don't want to over-beat it!) Fill muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake in a preheated

    oven at 400 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool in the muffin tins for about 10 minutes, before removing.
