    Fork into a flaky golden crescent roll, and you'll uncover an all-white meat chicken filling with a creamy herb spread. Mmmm!


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 4 (about 4-oz.) boneless skinless chicken breast halves
    • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
    • 1 (8-oz.) can Pillsbury® Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
    • 1/3 cup gourmet spreadable cheese with garlic and herbs (from 5-oz. container)
    • 1 egg, beaten, if desired


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle chicken breast halves with pepper; add to skillet. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until well browned on all sides. Cool slightly.
    2. Separate dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Press each to form 6x4-inch rectangle. Spread cheese evenly in center of each dough rectangle. Place chicken over cheese; wrap dough around chicken. Press seam to seal. Place on sprayed cookie sheet.
    3. Bake at 375°F. for 18 to 22 minutes or until deep golden brown, brushing lightly with egg during last 5 minutes of baking.
