    Sauerkraut and Pork

    List of Ingredients




    2 lb. pork ribs or pork chops
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. oil
    6 large potatoes, sliced thick
    1 qt. jar sauerkraut
    1 c. water
    3 tsp. cornstarch
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 medium onion

    Recipe



    Sprinkle flour, salt and pepper over pork. Put oil in iron skillet over medium heat. Add pork and brown both sides; drain. Place pork in bottom of large roasting pan. Place potatoes over pork; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread sauerkraut over potatoes. Mix water and cornstarch; pour over sauerkraut. Bake, covered, in 350 degrees oven for 1 hour.
