    Ham & Cheese Tortilla Roll-Ups

    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

This is how I made this recipe for St. Patrick's Day March 2011. You can add different things to the cream cheese to change or enhance the flavors. Let your imagination be your guide!

    List of Ingredients

1 pkg. of 6 Spinach Herb tortillas (approx 9 inch in size)
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
    4 oz. sour cream
    2 tbsp. green onion, chopped
1/4 cup pimento-filled green olives, chopped
4 oz. can diced mild green chilis
    8 oz. thin-sliced cooked ham

    Recipe

Keep cream cheese at room temperature for 1-2 hours to bring it to room temperature. Combine cream cheese and sour cream. Mix well together then add the green onions, olives and chilis. Continue mixing until all ingredients are mixed well together.

Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture on a tortilla. Lay ham on top of cheese down middle of tortilla (if you have 16 oz. ham, you can cover the tortilla). Roll up the tortilla like a jelly roll. Wrap in plastic wrap, wax paper or foil. Continue putting cream cheese and ham on the
rest of the tortillas, wrapping each roll. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours but preferably overnight.

When ready to serve, cut each roll into 1-inch slices on "the straight" or on a slant to make a larger-looking slice. Makes approximately 48 slices.
