    CHINESE COLESLAW

    Source of Recipe

    www.cooks.com

    List of Ingredients

    1 head cabbage, shredded
    2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
1 pkg. Ramen noodles (any flavor; we prefer chicken)
    3 green onions
    1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds

    DRESSING:
    1 tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. seasoning (from noodles)
    3 tbsp. vinegar

    Recipe

Crush Ramen noodles. Mix together cabbage, onions, sesame seeds, almonds, and noodles.

For dressing - mix sugar, oil, salt, vinegar and seasoning from package of noodles.

Ten minutes before serving add dressing to slaw and mix well.

    Notes:
    1. This can also be prepared the day before. Just wait until 10 minutes before serving to add the noodles.

    2. You can roast your sesame seeds yourself if you wish. Just purchase Sesame Seeds from your grocer's spice section. Heat a small frying pan on high heat. When hot, put some oil (just enough to coat the bottom) in the pan. Add Sesame seeds and heat, stirring constantly. Brown the Sesame seeds to your preference.
