Tamale Casserole - part 2

List of Ingredients
- 1 c. yellow corn meal
- 3 c. milk
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 12 oz can whole kernel corn
- 3 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. chopped ripe olives
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 1/2 T. chili powder
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1T cooking oil
- 1/2 lb. grated cheese (sharp cheddar)
Instructions
- Soak Corn meal in milk
- Fry onions and peppers lightly in oil. Add meat & brown
- Stir in tomato sauce, corn meal, seasonings, corn & olives. Mix well & pour into greased loaf pan or baking dish.
- Bake about 60 min. 375°
- Stir & top with cheese after pie has baked 35 min.
