List of Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 can (large) crushed tomatoes
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce, seasoned
- 1 envelope spagetti sauce, italian flavored
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cottage cheese, cream style
- 1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Brown meat slowly and spoon off excess fat.
- Add next four ingredients.
- Cover and simmer to taste.
- Cook noodles in boiling, salted water until tender, drain and rinse in cold water.
- Combine cottage cheese, egg, parsley and mozzarella cheese together.
- Place 1/2 of the noodles in an 11x7 or 11x9 inch bakiing dish.
- Add 1/3 of the cooked sauce.
- Top with 1/2 of the cheese mixture.
- Repeat with 1/2 of the noodles, 1/3 of the sauce and 1/2 of the cheese.
- Top is off with the parmesan cheese.
- Bake 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
- Cut it into squares.
