    List of Ingredients




    Fresh green beans, one generous handful per person

    PER POUND OF GREEN BEANS
    2-3 T butter
    1/4 t salt
    1/4 t pepper
    1/2 t parsley
    1/4 C lemon juice

    Recipe



    Pull off end and wash in hot water. Cook in large pot of boiling water, or steam them until slightly crisp, about 6-8 minutes. Pour immediately into colander, run cold water over for 3 minutes (can be done ahead to this point)
    Put dry, cooked beans into pot with rest of ingredients. Shake in a circular motion until beans are coated. Heat and serve.
