Sour Cream Coffee Cake

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (preferably pecans but any nut will be fine)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Cream together margarine & sugar. Add eggs & mix well.
- Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients.
- Spoon half of the batter into a greased ten inch tube pan or bunt pan. Sprinkle with half of the topping. Repeat.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
- Let cool almost completely before removing from pan. Sprinkle top with powedered sugar. Serve cold. Best served day after baking. Will keep well or can be frozen.
